I’m an award-winning, multi-platform podcast and documentary producer, magazine writer, author and digital newsroom leader, working at the intersection of sports, culture and politics.

Currently, I’m the Senior Producer of Pablo Torre Finds Out at Meadowlark Media, where I was recently honored with a second Peabody Awards nomination and fourth Edward R. Murrow Award. At PTFO, I oversee “talkumentary” episodes on everything from detainees, presidents and billionaires… to wrestlers, record-setters and harness-racers. I also produce Meadowlark’s special projects and develop new franchises for The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz.

My writing has regularly appeared in Rolling Stone and has also been published at ESPN, GQ, Men’s Health, New York and The Washington Post. I have appeared multiple times on CNN, MSNBC, NPR and the BBC.

My work as an editor — at The New York Times, The Guardian, The Atlantic, Esquire and Bleacher Report — has been honored more than a dozen times by The Best American Sports Writing, the National Magazine Awards and the Murrow Awards. I led investigative teams that were finalists for the Peabodys and the Emmy Awards.

My first book was CAN’T KNOCK THE HUSTLE (Dey Street Books / HarperCollins, June 2021), an exclusive account of basketball’s renaissance beyond the game, by way of an embed with the Brooklyn Nets for the historic 2019-2020 NBA season. My reporting continued in a series of feature stories for Rolling Stone that sparked a global conversation on vaccination, celebrity and influence — and was honored with the 2022 New York Press Club Award for Journalism in Sports News. Another one of my Rolling Stone features was adapted into TROPHY WIFE, a three-part documentary series which I also executive-produced, premiering on Hulu in 2025.

I live in Brooklyn with my wife and two daughters.
